Today, we were fortunate to welcome Zac Moradi to our school. Zac shared his remarkable life story with the children in our senior classes. He spoke about his family's displacement from Kurdistan, being born into a refugee camp in Iraq, arriving in Leitrim as an 11 year old with no English and ending up playing hurling with Leitrim in Croke Park. His story has since been made into a book and a film.
